Built with recovery in mind, the brand new Molecule mattress uses a special “air-engineered” foam design to dissipate heat and maximize support.

I’m excited to get my hands on this bed and figure out all how all its different components work together, but first I’ve got to let it decompress on the frame!

CONSTRUCTION

The Molecule features a three-layer foam construction designed to give “active” sleepers the best rest of their lives. The focus here is on cooling and breathability, two factors that Molecule believes contribute to true restorative sleep.

I’ll dig into all of this and more in my full review, but wanted to give you a sneak peek at its different layers.

Cover – Molecule’s advanced cover material is outfitted with moisture-wicking properties to help keep things cool throughout the mattress. It’s breathable and soft, providing the sleeper with some immediate comfort.

Comfort Layer – The top layer is built with the brand’s proprietary MolecularFlo foam, a breathable alternative to memory foam. This material has a slow response to pressure, allowing for deep body contouring.

Compression Layer – Next up, you’ll find a layer of the brand’s RecoveryFlo foam. This section is comprised of a series of hexagonal perforations, which work to adapt and conform to the unique curves of your body.

Base Layer – And finally the foundation, which is made up of 7” of high-density poly foam. This layer gives the bed its durability and shape.
