Saatva vs Casper – #1 Mattress Review Guide (UPDATED). In this video Wes, who is a Certified Sleep Science Coach, covers his updated review of Saatva vs Casper. Now both of these bed in a box brands offer multiple different mattresses, but in this video JD focuses on the flagship beds from both companies – the Saatva Classic mattress and the Casper Original. Saatva also offers the Loom & Leaf, Zenhaven, Saatva HD, Saatva Latex Hybrid and more. Casper offers the Element Pro, Casper Original Hybrid, Nova Hybrid, and Wave Hybrid. Wes touches on the mattress policies offered with mattress brands which includes free shipping, a sleep trial, free returns and a warranty. He also covers the construction of the mattresses, how they feel and their firmness, and what sleeper type would be best for either bed (back sleepers, side sleepers, stomach sleepers and combination sleepers). Wes also discusses which body types (petite, medium and heavy) would enjoy these mattresses. If you’re a heavy person, Wes recommends opting for the Casper Original Hybrid or the Saatva HD mattress since they utilize coils for extra support. Thanks for watching this Saatva mattress vs Casper Original comparison. Hopefully, it helps you decide whether to go with Casper or Saatva for your next bed.

Okay so Casper I'm sure you've heard of It in the online betting space but what About Sava and how do these beds go head To head which one has a better feel Which one has a better firmness and Which one is ultimately right for you Well that's what I'm going to try to Cover in this video and hi there I'm Wes Over here at the summer yard and over Here we review all things online beds we Do solo reviews we do comparisons and we Even do best lists so if you need any More information about online beds feel Free to subscribe to the channel but for This video I'm going to be talking about The original Casper mattress and the Sofa classic and how they compare and Contrast we're going to touch on some Similarities differences all while Talking about feel firmness and pricing And at the very end I should have a Final verdict and answer some of the Questions that you still might have About either one of these options now if You enjoy this video along the way hit The thumbs up button but let's start Talking about Casper versus Sava [Music] Save your money on it Alright so before I touch on everything That you need to know about Casper and Safa I do want to preface this all by Saying that both these Brands did send Us these beds for free to review and

Tell you guys about them but if you Order either one online you'll be backed By the following policies starting with Completely free shipping now Casper is a Bed in a box mattress it might even be The bed in a box mattress the one that Started it all not really sure we're Gonna have to dig into that in a later Video but basically it'll ship to your House in a big old box that you Basically drag into your home or rip off All the packaging and before you know it You'll have a bed that will expand in Front of your eyes now Sava on the other Hand they don't ship their bed in a box They have what's called White Glove Delivery where a delivery team will Bring the bed to your house full size And ready to go so with Casper the bed Might experience some Growing Pains as The bed expands you might want to give It an hour or a day to get to its true Firmness but with Sava that thing is Going to be ready to be slept on right When it arrives now both of these beds Will come with a sleep trial with Casper You get 100 nights to test the bed out In the comfort of your own home May make Your own decisions and decide if you Want to keep it or not if not you can Get free returns within that trial Period but hopefully you do enjoy the Mattress and if so it's backed by a 10-year warranty now Sava on the other

Hand they offer a 360 five night trial So you basically get to test the BET out For a full year before you have to make Any of those hard decisions of whether You want to keep it or send it back but If you do decide to return Safa within That trial period they will charge you a Nominal transportation fee and that's Pretty much just to recoup some of the Fees with sending that bed to you with The white Club delivery but hopefully You do enjoy this mattress and if so it Will be backed by a lifetime warranty And if you need any more information About these warranties or these sleep Trials or any of the policies check down Below in the description we'll try to Have some helpful links for both Casper And Sava down there for you but let's Talk about the beds now starting with Casper now this is an all foam bed by Default it's a simple three layer all Foam bed with support foam on the bottom Then you have a transition layer of Memory foam and on top an open cell foam Which Casper dubs air Escape that Basically has some holes drilled into it To basically help improve some airflow In the bed now jumping over to Sava and Comparing that construction to Casper if You look at it it has a layer of inner Springs on the bottom which will be one Of the main layers of support for the Mattress then above that is a layer of

Pocketed coils which pretty much acts as More support but also a transition layer From the top Comfort layers and that Inner spring chassis now above those Pocketed coils is a comfort foam layer Of memory foam and the whole bed is Wrapped up in a nice Euro pillow top and It even has an organic cotton cover Which is pretty much the cherry on top So if you go the route of Sava you're Getting a coil bed and in general over Here at the slumber yard we like to Recommend coil beds for anyone who first Off likes coil beds or if you're above The 200 to 250 pound Mark coil beds and Beds with pocketed coils just provide a Lot more long-term support and Durability for those with bigger body Types now Casper on the other hand is an All foam mattress so it should work Great for almost all medium or petite Size individuals but they do offer the Casper original in a hybrid model which Basically just swaps out that bottom Layer of support foam for pocketed coils So that's something to look into and Casper as a brand makes a couple other Different mattresses as well with Pocketed coils one specifically for side Sleepers known as the Casper Nova so Definitely a lot to check out if either One of these beds aren't exactly ringing Your bell those beds will be linked Down Below in the description if you want to

Learn more about them but now let's talk About feel what is each bed going to Feel like and starting with Casper this Bed basically has a soft neutral foam Feel it's going to be really Accommodating and we think that most People that sleep on a bed like a Casper Are just gonna feel it to be a nice good Sleep in general Casper is just a really Safe pick it might work great in any Guest room or if you like a bed with a Soft neutral accommodating feel it might Work great in your main bedroom but now Moving to Sava what is this bed gonna Feel like and obviously it's got a much Different construction so it'll also Have a much different feel and we would Classify it to have more of a Traditional pillow top feel it's pretty Much gonna feel like something that you Might have grown up sleeping on or Something like a hotel bed those two Layers of coils combine with the Euro Pillow top is basically going to make it Feel like a nice responsive cloud and There will be some bounce because of Those coils as well so if you're into a Bed with some Bounce That might be the Better choice for you between these two Since all foam beds don't really have Much spring and bounce so with Casper You're getting a soft neutral foam feel And with sofa you're getting a more Traditional pillow top feel now in terms

Of firmness the sofa classic is Available in three different firmness Options you've got their plush soft They're luxury firm and they're firm so Basically you get to make some choices In terms of savva their plush soft is Around a medium on our firmness scale Their luxury firm around a medium firm And their firm version is around a Proper firm so we would pretty much only Recommend the firm for strict back and Stomach sleepers we tend to point people Towards the luxury firm since it's Around a medium firm so it should work For all sleeper types might be slightly Better for back and stomach but you can All also go with the plush soft and be A-Okay now in terms of Casper this bed Is only available in one firmness level And we would place it right around a Medium on our scale so it should work For all sleeper types back stomach side And combination so if you go the route Of Casper it should be pretty Accommodating right around that Medium Firmness but you don't get to make those Choices that you do with Safa but Speaking of choices both these brands do Make a number of different options to Choose from I touched on the Casper Nova A little bit earlier great choice for Side sleepers and a bed that does have Pocketed coils by default but you could Also look into the Casper wave hybrid

They're top the line bed they even have The Casper element which is their more Affordable option they also have the Casper element Pro which is their more Budget choice and in terms of Sava they Make a ton of different beds they have a Latex hybrid a memory foam hybrid an air Bed bed specifically for kids so if you Want to check any of those beds out from Sava or Casper we'll link more Information about them down below in the Description but let's touch on some X Factors what are some things these beds Are doing that are basically cool or Above and beyond the normal mattress Standard and for both these mattress They have a slight Zone support design Where the center third of the mattress Will be slightly firmer just to provide A little bit more support for your trunk And hips Zone support is also supposed To keep your back in a more neutral Spinal alignment as you sleep so that's Cool as well it might help alleviate Pain but it's cool that both of these Mattress have that going for them but Now let's talk about price how much are You going to be paying for a queen size Casper or a queen size Sava and I do Want to preface this all by saying that Mattress Brands like Sava and Casper Like to change their pricing and Promotions from time to time so this is As of when I'm recording this video so

If you need whatever is current it'll be Linked Down Below in the description but For a queen size Casper you're looking To pay around the 11 to 1200 Mark after Discount for that bed and for a queen Size sofa you should be paying around The 1600 Mark after discount but if you Do want to use a discount that'll be Linked Down Below in the description and If you you do use that that does help us Over here at the slumber yard and we Really appreciate that but just know Again that mattress pricing it changes All the time so whatever is current will Be linked Down Below in the description But that basically does it when Comparing Casper to Safa and at this Point in the video it's time for a final Verdict well I would look into the Casper mattress if you want an all-foam Bed with more of a medium firmness and a Soft neutral foam feel and check out Sava if you want a bed that has more of A traditional pillow top feel with coils And something that is available in three Different firmness options but that's Just what we think over here at the Slumber yard what do you guys think have You tried savva or Casper have you seen Any of their ads which do you like more Write us down below in those comments we Would love to hear from you and if you Need any more information about either One of these beds or any other beds from

Either one of these Brands check down Below in the description or go to our Website and always feel Free to hit that thumbs up button it Really keeps us going over here at the Slumber yard and subscribe if you want But that's going to do it for this one I'm Wes wishing you a good night's sleep Foreign [Music]
