▬ ABOUT THIS VIDEO ▬
Nectar vs Purple | #1 Mattress Review Guide (2020). In this video, Owen covers our updated Purple vs Nectar mattress reviews. This also includes the Purple Hybrid vs Nectar comparison as well.
Purple: There are four different Purple beds to choose from – the Original Purple, Purple Hybrid, Purple Hybrid Premier 3 and Purple Hybrid Premier 4. All Purple beds use a patented material called Hyper-Elastic Polymer which gives the beds a unique gel like feel. The material is soft and pressure relieving, yet it’s also supportive. We think Purple mattresses are ideal for all types if sleepers (side, back and stomach). The Original Purple mattress is best for small and medium sized people, while the Purple Hybrid beds are better for heavy people since they use coils. The Original Purple mattress is also the most affordable out of the four. A queen size costs just over $1,000. However, compared to Nectar, Purple is more expensive.
Nectar: This is an affordable memory foam mattress. A queen size often costs less than $700 after discounts and coupon codes. The bed has a memory foam feel and we think it lands on the firmer end of the scale. Still, we think the Nectar mattress is a good option for back sleepers, stomach sleepers and side sleepers. If you want a slightly softer mattress, we’d recommend taking a look at the Nectar Lush mattress. The Nectar Lush is a little more expensive but its also the slightly better choice for primary side sleepers.
