If you spend much time on Youtube, you have undoubtedly seen Nectar’s commercials. They offer memory foam comfort at an affordable price. Is it a good deal? I think so.

If you are looking for a softer than average mattress with good pressure relief, the Nectar could be a great fit for you. I felt little pressure on my shoulders and hips. Also, if you are back sleeper, it supports the back quite well.

If you like the slow compression of memory foam mattress, the Nectar could be the mattress for you. Its top layer of foam is slow to respond, so you are really enveloped by the mattress.

However, if you sleep primarily on your stomach, you might want to look at a firmer mattress. I definitely felt my hips sinking in too far. Also, if you like more of a balanced foam feel, the Nectar might not be for you.

How does this mattress compare to the Leesa mattress? The both have similar heights and their comfort layers are about the same thickness.

The Nectar is softer than the Leesa, and I think it could be better for most side sleepers. I felt good support on my back with boht mattresses. However, the Leesa gave me better support on my stomach.

Do you sleep with a partner? You should think about motion isolation. The Nectar has memory foam in its top layer, so it isolates motion well. This should be a good mattress for couples.

Also, if you sleep with a partner, you should think about edge support. How much of the mattress surface can you use. The mattress did compress when I sat near the edge, but I didn’t feel like I was going to fall off. I also felt secure lying down.

If you are a side sleeper who like a memory foam feel, the Nectar could be a great choice. If you are a stomach sleeper or you like a traditional foam feel, the Nectar might not be for you.
