“Cold and Ultra-cold Molecules for
Quantum Information and Particle Physics”

I will describe our recent results on optical trapping, laser cooling and imaging of CaF molecules, the laser cooling of SrOH molecules, and the prospects for laser cooling of larger polyatomic molecules. I also will present recent progress in the field of electron electric dipole moment searches using heavy diatomic molecules, in particular the recent ACME result, and future prospects, including the use of polyatomic molecules.
