There are two main types of humidifiers: warm mist and cool mist. Truth be told, there’s not much of a difference between the benefits of using either, but they do work differently. Warm mist warms up water to produce steam, while cool mist humidifiers use ultrasonic vibrations to produce a cool vapor.
Humidifiers are great for keeping your airways hydrated while you sleep. This helps you clear congestion more easily. Because of this, it could even help out with snoring, too! Experts agree that a room humidity level of around 40-60% humidity is ideal. In addition to hydrating your airways, they can keep your skin hydrated, and just help out if you live in a dry climate.
