This is our shorter GhostBed Review in which Jeff discusses who this bed is best for. We’ve published this mattress guide in 2019 so that you can see the current bed and learn about this foam mattress.

Company Polices: GhostBed is a bed in a box mattress that ships within a few days of you placing your order. GhostBed comes with a 101 night trial period and free returns. Even more, it’s backed by a 20 year warranty!

Construction: The bed is unique in the sense that it has three different foams, including latex, which is typically reserved for natural and organic mattresses—most of which retail for well over the price of GhostBed. If you’re a heavy person, you should look into GhostBed Flex, their innerspring mattress.

Feel: The bed has a mixed foam feel. Lighter folks will feel more of the latex foam, while most other people will get a lot of the pressure relief from the memory foam. We used to think that the bed had a true memory foam feel, however, the more we’ve had time with it, we realize that it depends largely on your body type.

Firmness: The bed is close to a medium on our firmness scale, however, it will depend on your weight and body type. The heavier you are, the more of the memory foam you’ll feel.

Sleeper Type: GhostBed is a nice mattress for side sleepers, back sleepers, stomach sleepers, and combination sleepers. It might not be our favorite in each category, but we think for the average person it will work for a variety of positions.

Temperature Regulation: In our opinion, the bed is fairly neutral in regards to temperature. Yes, the latex helps with airflow, but it’s not designed to be a cooling mattress for hot sleepers.
