To really understand how these Mattresses differ we're going to need to Look at their construction so like I Said earlier both mattresses are 10 Inches tall but let's start by chatting About the ND this mattress is surrounded By an anti-microbial cover that's super Soft and stretchy and breathable beneath That is a layer of ND foam this is a Proprietary material that feels slightly More breathable and responsive than Traditional memory foam beneath that You'll find a transition layer made out Of foam followed by a thick high density Support layer now the silk and snow is Pretty similar in terms of construction But there are a few differences from the ND first of all it has an anti-microbial Cover which will help keep you cool and Clean throughout the night beneath that You'll find a layer of gel infused foam This also helps dissipate body heat and It has more of a slow moving feel Underneath that you've got a transition Layer followed by a thick layer of high Density support foam foreign Moving on to two of the most important Things to consider firmness and feel so First of all here at mattress Clarity we Use a firmness scale that goes from 1 to 10 with six and a half out of ten Indicating the industry standard for Medium firm this also has to be the Firmness level for both the ND and the
Silk and snow but what do these Mattresses feel like there's a slight Difference here the ND feels a bit more Balanced because that top layer feels a Bit more responsive the silk and snow Has more of a classic memory foam feel So you'll sink into it just a little bit More [Music] Of course we got a chat about sleeping Positions as well now because these Mattresses have a similar construction And the same firmness level they're Going to work for the same types of Sleepers back sleepers should get a Great balance of comfort and support on Both beds and side sleepers should get Some really nice pressure relief along Their shoulders and their hips we do not Recommend either mattress for stomach Sleepers because they're just not firm Enough to support your hips over time Your hips can start to sink out of Alignment and that puts a lot of strain On the lower back and could lead to pain Over time If you share a bed with a partner you Really want to pay close attention to Your mattresses and motion isolation and Edge support let's start by talking About motion isolation if you don't know What this means it's just that if you're On one side of the bed and your partner Gets done on the other and they start
