Okay received the DeMarini Fastpitch Prism plus uh this is a drop 10 31 inch Bat this will be the quick opening here So purchase this through Amazon as you Can tell packaging came in pretty solid No concerns As we open this up Seems pretty standard One-handed opening not so easy Foreign So as we can see Coming in with a pretty good Wrapping Nothing else in the Box So not the best wrap um you know as you Can tell the handle was exposed uh grip Seems to be okay still uh it’s literally Just you know brown paper that you uh You know might see in their typical Um I’m wrapping here but overall Um looks pretty good uh it does not Appear to have any damage Um everything looks great One year limited warranty obviously uh There and uh The top again taped well for protection As we can see again uh is a 31 inch And again it’s going to be 21 ounces 31 Inches All the information here listed And prism plus so this is just simple Unwrapping uh we’ll come back and
Showcase this once we put it to use But looks like it came back very clear For our clean for delivery and uh that’s A good good sign Okay we’re about two weeks in on this Bet and uh You know it’s a decent bat however Noticing significant uh amounts of Chipping On the bat Um again within two weeks already seeing Some uh Some significant amounts of chipping so Um while I’m happy with the results of The bat uh or my daughter is more Specifically Um we are kind of disappointed by the Chipping so I’m going to be reaching out To the manufacturer today uh to see what The uh the options are and I will update From there Okay so uh dealt with DeMarini and they Sent back a uh new bat and it is it is The uh upgraded version it is the 2023 Um DeMarini so it’s uh the same Um same version of the bat just a 2023 Version with a different look and feel So everything kind of looks great again Uh hopefully this one will not have any Chips we’re going to be putting it to Use uh this weekend and hopefully we’ll Uh be able to give an update based on That Pretty sweet looking
So here’s the overall 2021 DeMarini Prism review uh DeMarini released a Third iteration of the new prism fast Pitch line the BET hasn’t changed much From its release a d-lab bat from 2019. It’s still a big barrel it’s a light Swing it’s flexible feel and it’s a High-end performance fast pitch back They have added some sizing options for 2021 and it competes for head to head With its sister bat the CF and that’s Very similar to Easton’s ghost Advanced And Louisville Sluggers lxt and meta the Prism bat line is a highly recommendable The double barrel sounds great it has Almost little to no hand sting on hits And Miss hits and appears to have a Pretty massive sweet spot if budget Isn’t much of an issue it comes uh at a High recommendation in terms of overall Feel my daughter thought that that it’s One of the best on the market other Stiffer bats tended to perform better But bigger hitters could drill the ball Um not really her uh we recommend the 2021 prism for almost any uh drop 10 or Drop 11 hitters looking for a real Balance swing and it’s a and anyone That’s very serious about fastpitch Overall construction it’s uh it’s got a Pretty balanced feel and is a two-piece Full composite bat it uses that double Barrel design to help pass the test but Still has a big bounce with lower impact
Uh speeds Um therefore it’s going to work better For younger and smaller players it’s a Light back light pretty light back built For hitters that want as much bat speed As possible
