The Casper Wave is the second mattress from Casper, different in construction than the Casper, and priced more for a luxury mattress shopper.
The Casper Wave has a unique feel, initially soft and conforming, but feeling sturdy and supportive as you sink into the mattress. This is due to the construction, featuring a number of foam layers as well as a “zoned” construction.
With layers of proprietary foam, latex foam, memory foam, transition foam, and of course base foam, the Casper Wave definitely has a bit of “bounce” to it, but also has some feel of a memory foam mattress. Most mattresses I try to decide if I’m sleeping “on” the mattress or “in” the mattress, yet it’s really difficult to describe the floating yet sinking in feeling of the Casper Wave.
