Hey guys Martin here from mattress Clarity if you're a bigger person like Me you might be taking a look at the Titan plus and the big fig mattresses But which one should you get well I'm Here to help you with that today I'm Going to take a look at their Similarities their differences and help You choose one over the other let's get Started [Music] Some of these mattresses for free from Brands we may earn a commission if you Decide to purchase them this helps keep This content free for you and helps fund Our testing operations So let's start off by talking about the Similarities between these two Mattresses first off they are both Hybrid mattresses that means they Feature coils and soft Foams on top They're also made specifically with Larger people in mind they're both very Responsive mattresses and they're both Very cooling mattresses as well so now Let's talk about the differences between These two mattresses first off in my Experience the Titan plus was firmer Than the big fig mattress Also they are both responsive mattresses That they have slightly different feels They also feature different materials in Their comfort layers and last but not Least the Titan Plus cost less than the
Big fig So now let's take a look at the Construction of both these mattresses Starting off on top and then working our Way down First off with the Titan plus mattress You have a soft cover you can also opt For a special cooling cover this is Going to be quilted with some foam now Moving over to the big fig mattress Right on top a Therma gel cover made to Help you sleep cool at nights now moving Down to the Comfort layers with these Mattresses on the Titan plus that first Quilted layer some soft memory foam and Beneath that a layer of Titan Flex foam Responsive and very durable as well Moving back over to the big fig mattress On top some ventilated gel latex foam Very durable bouncy and breathable and Beneath that you have three layers of High density poly foam again high Density made of support heavier weights Speaking of support moving down to Support layers of these mattresses on The Titan plus mattress individually Wrapped coils made to handle heavier Weights similar to what you find over on The big fig mattress So now let's talk about firmness and Feel and in my experience the Titan plus Was close to a 9 out of 10 Way firmer Than average six and a half medium firms We are definitely firmer than average
Here the big fig mattress also quite Firm but closer to an 8 out of 10. Now speaking of field with both these Mattresses some very good bounce very Easy to move around on both mattresses But the feels are slightly different so With the Titan plus mattress more of a Kind of inner spring feel overall and With the big fig mattress more of a kind Of bouncy hybrid feel that latex feel Right on top [Music] And now let's talk about how I felt in Different sleeping positions on both These mattresses starting off on the Titan plus mattress on my back a little Bit too firm for me again it's a 9 out Of ten if you're a back sleeper you Usually want something closer to medium Firm I will note though that I am 270 Pounds so if you're much larger than me You might find some better kind of Comfort on this mattress when you act it As top layers more than I did moving to My side also it's a firm mattress some Serious pressure on my shoulders and my Hips but moving to my stomach some great Support under my hips good overall Support as well Moving over to the big fig mattress on My back definitely better than I felt Over on the Titan plus mattress but Definitely a little bit still too firm For me but if you're over 300 pounds
Shouldn't be an issue for you On my side also better pressure relief Than it felt on the Titan plus mattress Still some bunching up around the Shoulders and the hips but if you're Larger than me you should feel better Pressure relief than I did moving to my Stomach also some good overall support But not as good as I felt over on the Titan Plus [Music] If you sleep with the partners two Things you do want to think about that's Motion transfer and Edge support now Motion transfer means you're lying down On one side of the mattress and your Partner is around on their side of the Mattress are going to feel that motion For knots Edge support means you're sitting or Lying down near the edge of a mattress Do you feel secure like you're going to Roll off and onto the floor so first off Speaking of motion transfer both handle It pretty well they absorb a lot of the Motion in these mattresses I tested it Out with a glass of water pushing into The areas around the glass of water Didn't see too much disturbance on Either mattress But speaking of edge support the big fig Definitely wins out I felt more secure Sitting and lying down near the edge of The big thing so now let's talk pricing
And at full price for a queen size Titan Plus mattress around twelve hundred Dollars now for the big fig mattress for A full price queen size going to be Close to eighteen hundred dollars But we do have some great deals here at Mattress Clarity you'll find them on our Website and in the YouTube description Below so who should get the Titan plus Mattress well first off it's a better Option for stomach sleepers definitely The firmer mattress of the two you Should get better support under your Hips and across your entire body also You want something firmer overall just Take a look at the Titan plus mattress Lastly speaking of price it is more Affordable than the big fig mattress so If your budget is tighter take a look at The Titan plus so who should get the big Fig mattress well first off between the Two definitely a better option for back Sleepers a better balance of comfort and Support than I experienced over on the Titan plus mattress also if you want Something more durable and long lasting I would take a look at the big fake Mattress it features latex on some more High density materials on the Titan plus Should last longer than that mattress And last we want something that's a Little bit softer than the Titan plus Take a look at the big fig it is still Quite firm but definitely softer than
