Hey guys Martin here from mattress Clarity if you're a larger person like Me you want a mattress to handle your Extra weight and that's why I want to Talk about the Titan plus mattress I'm Going to take a look at its construction My experience with it who it's a good Fit for and who it's not a good fit for Let's get started [Music] Before we get started I will note or Receive some of these mattresses for Free for Brands and we may earn a Commission if you decide to purchase Them this helps keep this content free For you and helps fund our testing Operations So now let's talk about the major Details you need to know about the Titan Plus mattress and first off there are Two versions of this mattress the Titan Plus and the Titan plus Lux we're taking A look at the Titan plus here today it Is the firmer model but you have 120 Night sleep trial a 10-year warranty and Free shipping and returns and looking at The mattress itself it's construction Starting off on top and working our way Down first off on top we have a thin Breathable cover soft the touch you can Also opt for a special cooling cover now Right in the top of that mattress you're Going to have some gel infused memory Foam gonna be with Cooling and a bit of
Pressure relief as well now beneath that A thick layer of titanflex foam Proprietary to this company is going to Be bouncy and also very durable as well That is going to rest on some Titan Caliber coils some very supportive coils Made to handle more weights and beneath That some very thick durable base felt The Titan plus is a bed in the Box Mattress that means it's going to come To your house in the cardboard box and In our experience it was very easy to Unbox this mattress but I will say ask a Friend for help this is a bigger Mattress so it can be quite heavy we Brought the Box inside took out the Rolled up mattress place it on our bed Frame took away all the plastic I gave It about 24 to 48 hours to completely Off gas and expand and it was good to go So now let's talk about firmness and Feel and in my experience it felt close To a 9 out of 10 much firmer than Average you have some very supportive Materials some very durable Foams so Definitely felt much firmer than average I will note though that I'm only 270 Pounds this is made to handle even more Weight than mine so if you weigh over 300 pounds it might feel softer to you Than it did to me now looking at the Feel of this mattress overall more of a Kind of bouncy responsive feel you get a Little bit of that smoothing feel right
On top of the mattress but overall not Too hard to move around with a Titan Mattress looking at sleeping positions Starting on my back a good match for me Again it is a very firm mattress but my Hips sink in just a little bit and some Great overall supports if you're a back Sleeper though who wants something a Little bit closer to medium firm I would Look elsewhere side sleepers should Definitely take a look at the Titan plus Luxe mattress the softer model but Moving to my stomach it is a firmer Mattress great support across my entire Body good support under my hips very Good match for stomach sleeping If you sleep with the partners two Different things you want to think about It's motion transfer and Edge support Motion transfer means you're lying down On one side of the mattress and your Partner is around on their side of the Mattress are you going to feel that Motion or not Edge support means if You're sitting or lying down near the Edge of a mattress do you feel secure or Like you're going to roll off and onto The floor so first off speaking of Motion transfer the Titan plus handles It quite well is some very thick Foams Right on top of the mattress really Absorbing a lot of that motion during Our test not a lot of motion transfer on The Titan plus speaking of edge Support
Also a very supportive firm mattress I Feel very secure toward the edge sitting And lying down [Music] So now let's talk pricing so for a queen Size Titan plus mattress at full price Around twelve hundred fifty dollars that Is a very good deal for a mattress like This but you can save even more with our Great coupons you'll find them on Mattressclared.com and in the YouTube Description below And now the moment you've all been Waiting for who should get the Titan Plus mattress and who shouldn't get the Titan plus mattress First off in terms of who should get This mattress it's a good option if You're a larger person and you want Something more affordable it's only 1250 For a queen size a very good deal for a Larger person mattress it's also a good Option if you're a larger person and you Want something on the firmer end this is Definitely a firmer more supportive Mattress and lastly a good option for Stomach sleepers being a firmer mattress Good overall support and good support Under your hips Now in terms of who shouldn't get this Mattress not the best option I think for Heavier people who sleep on their side You should feel some serious pressure on Your shoulders and your hips take a look
